A Literary Interfaith Dialogue 
co-hosted by TWC and Tiferet Journal

Authors of different faiths come together to share their personal perspectives and the experiences of their communities in this literary event to promote interfaith tolerance and understanding. How can writing and other creative pursuits can lead toward a more compassionate perspective on religious and cultural differences?. How can the arts help to reveal our common humanity? The panel will be moderated by Linda K. Wertheimer, author of Faith Ed from Beacon Press.

Participants
Linda K. Wertheimer, a veteran newspaper reporter and former Boston Globe education editor, is the author of FAITH ED, Teaching About Religion In An Age of Intolerance (Beacon Press, August 2015).   Ramananda John E. Welshons is a spiritual teacher and author of three critically-acclaimed books: ONE SOUL, ONE LOVE, ONE HEART; AWAKENING FROM GRIEF; and WHEN PRAYERS AREN’T ANSWERED - all published by New World Library.

Nahid Rachlin's publications include a memoir, PERSIAN GIRLS (Penguin), four novels, among them, JUMPING OVER FIRE (City Lights), FOREIGNER (W.W. Norton), MARRIED TO A STRANGER (E.P.Dutton hardcover, City Lights, paperback). The Rev. John A. Mennell, a priest in the Diocese of Newark, is the rector of St. Luke’s in Montclair, NJ.
